This is the most awesome language app Ive ever used. It really does contain the entire Spanish language. It gives you sentence structure examples and everything.

I forgot my password and pressed reset. It says to check my email for the reset password but NOTHING shows up! Its been days. Ive tried a few times! It wont let me back into the app and I paid full price!!

The set of Spanish flash cards is so much more than just a set of flash cards like you can get for free in other flash card apps. It really is a full Spanish course. I have done Rosetta Stone and Duolingo. I like them both and they can take you from beginner to intermediate student. But this set of Spanish flash cards is taking me from intermediate to advanced. The cards have a quality recording of the Spanish so I can practice pronunciation. My Spanish tutors compliment my accent and the breadth of my vocabulary. This app is worth what I paid for it. I recommend it to every English speaker who is serious about learning Spanish.

This app is definitely one of the best in the App Store. The science behind the learning works. Its a great app to reinforce what you already know or to advance your Spanish level. Probably the most important aspect is that reinforces your knowledge of Spanish so that you can have a conversation with a native Spanish speaker with more ease and confidence. This is the area in which other apps such as Rosetta Stone fall short. What is the point of having an Advanced knowledge of the Spanish language if you can only speak it like a child. Bravo! Bien Hecht. Great App.

Its worth the money, honestly. The flash cards are "smart" and consistently repeat when you indicate that you dont fully know a word -- this repetition, essential to language learning, will drill the words/phrases into your mind.

Ive tried 6 or 7 different Spanish flashcard apps and none of them matches the quality of Brainscapes apps. The "Intelligent Cumulative Exposure" technique is what I used to do with pen and paper flashcards. Its so convenient to have it automated on my iPad. Suggestions: - Add a daily log feature and implement a line graph so one can track ones progress. I am hoping to master the entire Spanish course in 45 days, and it would be nice to see my progress over time. The already-implemented percentage figure is a start, but a visualization would be more fun. - Allow other audio sources to continue playing. I would like to use the app while using SoundCloud or Spotify.

I would have given it just one star but the staff was responsive and helpful when I had a problem using the app. Aside from that, this is just not a thirty dollar app. Its really just a flashcard player. The translations are questionable and if you are trying to learn Spanish the flashcard format just does not work for lessons. But theres more: even though the app costs more than it should, they still put ads for their other app in the middle of the screen. There is no reason to have ads in a paid app. I would avoid this one.

I should have realized that this flashcard-based method wouldnt include any typing/writing, but I think it would be helpful in learning. I use the app with a notebook next to me to write things down as I learn them. I can also use my notes to "study" from before I start a new session. Its best for me to do all three things - see, hear, and do (i.e. write) - in order to learn them, even in English! Otherwise Im just repeating from short term memory.

I have found this app to be really helpful with learning Spanish!! Its organized well, and encourages you to study every day. I would really recommend it!!

Basically fancy flash cards. Nice interface, easy to use, but highly overpriced.

I am working on Spanish verbs and like the simple way Brainscape functions, but find the sets much too large, upwards of 250 terms. We should be able to customize set sizes.

Its been a few years since I was fluent in Spanish (más o menos), and so far this app is a fantastic tool for getting back into the rhythm of speaking comfortably! Great for anyone looking to tune up their speaking skills, travel, or just learn the language!

This app is a wonderful supplement to other programs like Rosetta Stone, as it helps provide context and explanations to many common Spanish terms and phrases. You must be honest about your self ratings, though, and you must keep up with it, but it is an excellent resource for anyone studying Spanish!
